AMFIHP health advocates (HA's) assist plan participants through every step of the international health care experience. HA's assist your employees in selecting the finest medical facilities and accommodations abroad, based upon each patient's needs. HA's work with each plan participant to assure that all pre-medical tasks are completed prior to departure, as well as a complete itinerary, and a reminder to bring along a non-expired passport!

Upon arrival in the host country, patients will be met at the airport by a Host Country Manager (HCM). The HCM will remain with the patient throughout their stay. HCM's act as a 24/7 concierge, are bilingual, and are with the patient during the initial exam, the actual procedure and post operation recuperation period. HCM's also provide patients with a local cell phone upon arrival to provide instant access to issues or concerns that may arise.
